      <image:caption>Alison Koch is a recent graduate of Messiah University with a Bachelor’s in Cello Performance and a minor in Education. She has been studying cello since age 9, playing at her church, Trinity Lutheran in Camp Hill, and later took part in many ensembles, such as Harrisburg Symphony Youth Orchestras, Cumberland Valley High School’s quartet, various regional pit orchestras, and district and regional festivals. She acted as principal cello of the Messiah Symphony Orchestra, and also participated in chamber strings and concert choir during her time there. She currently works for Market Square Concerts as Executive Assistant, rehearsal assistant for the Harrisburg Youth Symphony Orchestras, and maintains a local private cello studio.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Alaina Gawel is a violinist and educator based in Carlisle, PA. She currently serves as the Director of 6-12 Orchestras at Carlisle Area School District. Alaina graduated from Lebanon Valley College in 2023 with a B.S. in Music Education and a B.A. in Music - Violin and Music Theory concentrations. Alaina regularly collaborates with other musicians and ensembles throughout Central PA, including the Harrisburg Choral Society, Cantate Carlisle, 10/4 Strings, and many others. In 2021, she was chosen as a soloist with the LVC Symphony Orchestra as a winner of their Concerto-Aria Competition. In her very little free time, Alaina has been growing her private studio where she offers violin and viola lessons. She enjoys playing bassoon with the Carlisle Town Band, drinking a good cup of coffee (or two), and inevitably spending her money on more houseplants.</image:caption>

Together the Toppings serve at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Cathedral in their Director of Music, Choir Director, and Organist roles.  As performers, Matt and Sarah can often be found singing with the Grantham Consort, accompanying the Harrisburg Elementary Symphony Orchestra, and playing with the Hershey Symphony Orchestra.       <image:caption>Tracy Ensley is a performer and teacher of violin, viola, piano, and harp. She is currently the assistant principal second violin with the York Symphony Orchestra. Mrs. Ensley has held the positions of Principal Second Violin at the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Assistant Principal II violinist at the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. She has played with numerous other symphonies including the Charleston Symphony, Symphony Tacoma, ArsViva Symphony, the Lake Forest Symphony, and Berks Sinfonietta. She has been a prizewinner in numerous competitions including the Samuel and Elinor Thaviu String Scholarship Competition, Union League Civic and Arts Competition, the James Glacking Memorial Music Competition, the Evanston Music Club Scholarship, the Farwell Award of the Musicians Club of Women, the Nancy Fuqua Memorial Musical Arts Competition, and the Chicago/North Shore chapter of the American Guild of Organists competition. She has many years of professional experience as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral member, and accompanist. In 2011, Tracy soloed with three different orchestras, performing the complete Elgar Violin Concerto, the Max Bruch Violin and Viola Concertos, and Alexander Tchaikovsky’s Distant Dreams of Childhood. She has performed as a soloist with the Peninsula Music Festival Symphony Orchestra, the Northwestern Symphony Summer Orchestra, the North Suburban Symphony, the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra, the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra, and the Lake Forest Symphony. Tracy graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance and Historic Keyboard and a Master’s degree in Viola Performance. During her time at Northwestern, Tracy held positions as concertmaster of both the Northwestern University Chamber Orchestra and the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra. She studied violin and viola with Roland and Almita Vamos, and organ with Margaret Kemper and Douglas Cleveland. She currently resides in Bethel, PA with her husband and three wonderful children, and she teaches at Forte Piano Music Studio.</image:caption>

She is Assistant Principal Viola of the York Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with other groups including the Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra, Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, Fulton Theater Orchestra and many other orchestral and chamber groups in the area.  She is Adjunct Professor of Viola and Violin at Lancaster Bible College and coaches viola sectionals for the York Youth Symphony Orchestra, as well as teaching privately from her home in Annville, PA.  Jenny holds a B.M. In Viola Performance and an M.M. in Viola Performance and Pedagogy, both from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, where she studied with Victoria Chiang.  In addition to her work as a musician and teacher, Jenny is mom to four amazing kids who keep life full and always an adventure.</image:caption>

A native of Elizabethtown, Audrey recently relocated to central PA after completing a M.M. in piano pedagogy and performance at the University of Oklahoma. An active performer, she was awarded the graduate prize for the OU Concerto Competition and the first prize for MTNA Young Artist in the state of Oklahoma in 2019. She is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music (NCTM) and has also received several awards for her teaching, including the OU Provost's Excellence in Teaching Certificate. Audrey has been teaching private and group piano lessons for five years, and is a member of the Pennsylvania and Lancaster Music Teachers Associations.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Steve Lentz also known as "Shaulls" started playing clarinet at the early age of 8 and by junior high was performing with his musically talented family's 15-piece big band. Steve was also an original member of The Crown Royals from York Pa. and Fresh. While attending Austin Peay University in Tennessee, he earned a BS in music education. Steve played in a variety of bands while in Nashville. including Chapter IX, The Graduates, and Four Keys. After graduating he spent two years as a staff musician at the New Opryland Park before returning home to York, PA. Steve is best known in Central PA for his stint with "Hit and Run," with whom he recorded and toured with for eight years, opening for Pat Benatar, the Trammps and other recording artists. Along with teaching over 30 private students, Joe also conducts three levels of string ensemble. As a professional violinist, he is a member of the York Symphony and performs with various chamber orchestras around the region.       <image:caption>Michael Gamon currently chairs the Department of Fine and Performing Arts at Harrisburg Academy, and serves as the Director for the Center for Creative Arts. He serves as professor of viola at Kutztown University and has a passion for training young musicians. He has served on the artistic staff of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, as the conductor for the Baltimore Symphony Youth String Orchestra. In addition, he has served as the conductor for the Greater Baltimore Youth Orchestra’s Sinfonia, Sinfonietta, and Bridges Orchestras. Mr. Gamon is a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, where he studied viola performance with Victoria Chiang and pedagogy with Rebecca Henry. As an orchestral musician, he has worked with Marin Alsop, David Zinman, Jamie Laredo, George Manahan, and James Conlon among others.       <image:caption>Laura Ligo earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania, studying under Dr. Melinda Crawford Perttu. While there, Laura was principal violinist for Westminster College Symphony Orchestra, Vice President of the Westminster Chapter of the American String Teachers Association, and a performer in the Ceol Na Teud Scottish fiddling ensemble. In addition to playing with C. Stelle Music, Laura is principal violinist for Jubal String Quartet and is part of Celebrated Strings and Ten Four Strings. She has owned Laura’s String Studio since 2015 and teaches violin and viola to students of varying ages and abilities. Although a Lancaster native, Laura currently resides in York County and works full time at Maryland Public Television in fundraising.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>An acoustic act  comprised of guitar, fiddle, bass, and the occasional banjo. Great Northeast’s “lazy bluegrass” sound lends itself to a more simple time in music. Taking influences from indie folk music and Americana roots, the group’s use of heartfelt and honest lyrics from both original and cover songs helps create that back porch rocking chair nostalgia. Making music together in some form or another, Great Northeast has been pleasing audiences all over Central PA for the past decade, creating a following base of fans, as well as being featured in Harrisburg Magazine.</image:caption>

As a 2013 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Topping holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sacred Music. Sarah is an active member of the Hershey Symphony Orchestra, is a sought-after pit musician in the Central Pennsylvania musical-theatre scene, and serves as organist and music director at St. James Lutheran Church in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. When not teaching and performing, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Rachel began her violin studies at 5, classically trained via the Suzuki method. She earned a spot at All-Eastern Orchestra, where she served as principal 2nd violinist, and later traveled to New Mexico to participate in the National Orchestra. She served as concertmaster for the HBG Youth Symphony and assistant concertmaster for the Wyoming Seminary Civic Orchestra. Rachel attended the Univ. of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music where she majored in violin performance under the direction of Piotr Milewski, with a minor in piano performance. During her 2 years there, she won a prestigious quartet competition and served as the concertmaster for the Concert Orchestra. Rachel changed her major and today holds degrees in both dietetics and nursing, currently working as a RN in Lancaster. She still enjoys performing as a regular member of the Central PA Symphony and violin accompanist for Men In Harmony.</image:caption>

In addition to traditional classical performance, he also has a focus on exploring a wide variety of genres including modern alternative rock, pop, and experimental music as a contributor to many local band's albums and concerts.</image:caption>

While completing her undergraduate degree, she performed with the Messiah College Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. A recipient of the Derek DeVelder Orchestral Fellowship, Ms. Bowser performed in the 2018 MasterWorks Festival Orchestra. She was the winner of the 2017 Messiah College Kuhlman Competition and the 2018 Messiah College Concerto Competition. He is also grateful for the opportunity to have performed extensively with musical ensembles including Allegro and the PA Philharmonic, as well as in theatrical productions throughout Central Pennsylvania (EPAC, Fulton, Gretna, and Prima) since 2003. Isaac received his music education at Franklin &amp; Marshall College and Millersville University. He became a naturalized U.S. citizen in November 2025.</image:caption>

In addition to his elementary orchestra and band teaching position in the Central Dauphin School District, James serves as the Musical Director and Conductor for the York Junior Symphony Orchestra, a 100-member symphonic orchestra for students in fifth through eighth grade. James was the recipient of the Pennsylvania Music Educators’ Association (PMEA) 2021 Outstanding Young Educator Award and has served as a guest conductor at festivals throughout Pennsylvania. He also serves on the State Board for the Pennsylvania Delaware String Teachers’ Association (PADESTA) as Membership Chair and maintains an active cello studio in the Greater York area.</image:caption>

An active performer in the Central Pennsylvania region, Ms Murphy makes regular appearances with Harrisburg Choral Society, and has played for Harrisburg Opera, Lancaster Opera, Theatre Harrisburg, Cantate Carlisle, and many others. She is a former Resident Artist of the Wednesday Club for the Performing Arts, and played with the Lebanon Valley Alumni Chorale on their 2006 concert tour of Ireland and Wales.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dalinda C. Bohr currently teaches at Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg, PA. where she instructs the high school orchestra program and teaches guitar. Mrs. Bohr previously taught the Conestoga Valley School District . In 2009, she achieved certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in the area of Orchestra: Early Adolescence Through Young Adulthood. A 1999 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Dalinda earned a B.S. Music Education with Honors, B.A. Music and a minor in German. As an undergraduate, Dalinda was instructed on both violin and viola from Dr. Johannes Dietrich. In 2006, she completed her Masters of Music Education degree also from LVC. She also earned a Masters Degree in Music Technology from Valley Forge Christian College in 2012. She continues to play both violin and viola professionally as a freelance musician throughout the region. As a guest conductor, Mrs. Bohr conducted the Lancaster-Lebanon County Festival Orchestra (2003) as well as the Central Dauphin Elementary Honors Orchestra (2003, 2017) . She was the guest conductor for the Central Dauphin Middle School Honors Orchestra (2006, 2013), the PMEA District 7 Youth String Festival Orchestra (2009, 2017) and the Berks County Jr. High Orchestra. An active member of PMEA, Dalinda hosted the PMEA District 7 Orchestra Festival in 2003, 2005 and 2011 and has served as the PMEA District 7 Curriculum Instruction Chair and HS Representative from 2010-2016. She also served on the Pennsylvania-Delaware Chapter of the American String Teachers Association from 2003 – 2016. During her tenure on the PADESTA Board she was recognized as Orchestra Director of the Year in 2015 and for Distinguished Service (Individual) in 2016. For the past 23 years, she has been the string teacher for Lebanon Valley College Summer Music Camp. Dalinda also teaches an intergenerational ensemble for beginner-intermediate musicians of any age at the Community Music Institute of Lebanon Valley College.</image:caption>

In addition to teaching, Morgan works part-time at the Midtown Cinema. Much of Morgan’s theater experience has been in the pit, performing at venues such as the Fulton Theatre in Lancaster and Open Stage in Harrisburg, though she was recently featured onstage in Keystone Theatrics’ production of Once. She has also performed with the Hershey Symphony, the Lancaster Symphony, and various string quartets.</image:caption>

She holds a B.S. in Music Education from West Chester University and a M.M.in Vocal Pedagogy from The Catholic University of America. She has retired as Director of Orchestras at Allen M.S. and Cedar Cliff H.S. in the West Shore School District and also as a United States Air Force Senior Master Sergeant where she served for 20 years in the United States Air Force Band, Washington, DC as a soprano in the Singing Sergeants. Barbara studied cello with the late Mary Fister of Harrisburg, PA, Eugene Klein, West Chester University, and Stephen Kates, Peabody Conservatory. She also studied voice with the late Ms. Joy Vandever, West Chester University, Dr. Donald Wiggins, the Catholic University of America, and still studies with Ms. Claudia Catania, NYC, formerly with the Met. Besides actively teaching and performing, Barbara loves to spend time with her 3 children, their spouses, and her 9 grandchildren.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Michelle DiBona Trefren, conductor/pianist/organist/vocalist, is a music educator with a passion for music literacy and artistic music making. In addition to being the Artistic Director of Cantate Carlisle, she is the Director of Music Ministries at Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle, PA, teaches piano privately, and has worked with musical theatre groups from Fayetteville up through Harrisburg. Prior to working in Central PA, Michelle taught at Yokohama International School, directed the Tokyo International Children’s Choir, and has played piano and organ professionally since the year 2000. A graduate of Syracuse University, BM in Piano Performance, she received the Hira Poncha Memorial Award for Excellence in Piano Performance and the Arthur Poister Award for Excellence in Organ Performance. At Westminster Choir College, she received a MM in Conducting with distinction and has continued her studies to include Teacher Training at Rider University, Teaching Kodaly, and summer chamber choir programs at Westminster Choir College and the Presbyterian Association of Musicians conference. To supplement her musical life, she revels in speaking French, running, and hiking. Michelle especially loves spending time with her husband, daughter, son, dogs, and cat.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Mary Lyle-Lepley is a native of Warren, Pennsylvania where she began to play the violin at age nine. She graduated in May 2018 with a Master’s in Violin Performance from the University of Delaware. She also holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree and a Professional Performance Certificate from Penn State. An avid performer, Mary was a member of symphony, philharmonic, and chamber orchestras at the University of Delaware and Penn State. She has also participated in several chamber music ensembles at the collegiate level. As a soloist, Mary has given multiple solo recitals and received jury honors at Penn State for her rendition of the third movement of the Mendelssohn violin concerto. She has also appeared as a section player in the Altoona Symphony, Williamsport Symphony, and Music at Penn’s Woods. Her primary teachers include Christopher Wu, James Lyon, and Xiang Gao.       <image:caption>Brian Buterbaugh is the Music Director/Conductor of the York Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra Director at Hershey HS. Mr. Buterbaugh also teaches graduate-level low string pedagogy at Messiah University and has taught orchestra and conducting classes at Lebanon Valley College. In 2023, he was named the Orchestra Director of the Year by the Pennsylvania-Deleware American String Teachers Association. Under his direction, the Hershey HS Concert Orchestra won acceptance to perform at the PMEA All-State Convention in April 2025. Aside from his duties with the YYSO, Mr. Buterbaugh is a highly-requested guest conductor throughout the Capitol Region and beyond. Mr. Buterbaugh maintains a private cello studio and is a frequent performer in the area. His private cello students range in age from middle schoolers to PMEA All-State Orchestra participants. Along with frequent freelance work, Brian has performed with symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles from throughout Pennsylvania. Mr. Buterbaugh received his BME from Penn State University, M.M. in Orchestral Conducting from Messiah University, and M.M.E. from the University of Nebraska. Additional coursework has been completed at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas and the University of the Arts.</image:caption>

She currently teaches strings and band to students in grades 3–6 and remains an active performer throughout Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania. Emily performs with the Reading Pops Orchestra, Genesius Theatre, and other local musical productions, and regularly plays for church services and weddings in Berks and Lancaster Counties. In addition to performing, Emily maintains a private violin studio and is an instructor at the Berks Summer Strings Institute each summer. She served as concertmaster of the LVC Symphony Orchestra beginning her sophomore year and earned a senior leadership award, in addition to presenting two successful solo recitals. Beginning violin at the age of eight, Erin has performed in countless venues in a variety of roles, primarily in weddings and theatre orchestras. She was fortunate to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City at the age of sixteen. Erin has extensive wedding performance experience, with repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary styles, and is well seasoned in both written notation and playing by ear.       <image:caption>Andrew is proud to be serving as concertmaster of the Hanover Symphony Orchestra. Currently, Andrew is the Director of Secondary Orchestras in the Southern York County School District. He conducts the Full Symphonic High School Orchestra, high school string orchestra, high school select string ensemble, and he is the Susquehannock HS String Quartet coach. Andrew is also the conductor of the middle school (7–8th grade) orchestra. Along with his duties in Southern York, Andrew is the Pit Orchestra conductor for the Columbia Borough School District in Columbia, Lancaster, and serves on the violin faculty of the Elizabethtown College Music Camp. Previously, Andrew and his wife Julianna lived in Lewisburg, PA, where Andrew taught 4th–12th grade strings in the Lewisburg Area School District. He also performed with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra as a section violinist and was the conductor of the Williamsport Symphony Junior Strings. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania (2011), where he served as concertmaster of the university orchestra and string ensemble; he also played trumpet in the marching band and jazz band and sang in the Mansfield University Concert Choir. He holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC (2016). While at South Carolina, Andrew was the principal 2nd violinist in the university orchestra and chamber ensemble. He also played in the pit orchestra for the school operas and was a section violinist in the Brevard Philharmonic. Andrew was the graduate assistant director for the USC String Project (2014–2016), an after-school community string program, where he conducted an adult orchestra and a middle school–aged orchestra. When Andrew is not teaching or playing his violin, he can be seen either coaching his son’s soccer or baseball team or fishing. Andrew and his wife Julianna have two beautiful children, Frederick and Hazel, and they enjoy being outside fishing, playing, and going to the beach.</image:caption>

Mary-Kate is a multiple-time recipient of the Knot’s “Best of Weddings” Awards, The Knot Hall of Fame, and Wedding Wire’s “Brides’ Choice” award. Mary-Kate has also released multiple albums both with Seasons and as a soloist, including her latest release "Tunes in the Morning" which is a capstone project from her year of harp studies with Grainne Hambly, thanks to a grant from the PA Council on the Arts. As performers, Matt and Sarah can often be found singing with the Grantham Consort, accompanying the Harrisburg Elementary Symphony Orchestra, and playing with the Hershey Symphony Orchestra.       <image:caption>Tracy Ensley is a performer and teacher of violin, viola, piano, and harp. She is currently the assistant principal second violin with the York Symphony Orchestra. Mrs. Ensley has held the positions of Principal Second Violin at the Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra and Assistant Principal II violinist at the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. She has played with numerous other symphonies including the Charleston Symphony, Symphony Tacoma, ArsViva Symphony, the Lake Forest Symphony, and Berks Sinfonietta. She has been a prizewinner in numerous competitions including the Samuel and Elinor Thaviu String Scholarship Competition, Union League Civic and Arts Competition, the James Glacking Memorial Music Competition, the Evanston Music Club Scholarship, the Farwell Award of the Musicians Club of Women, the Nancy Fuqua Memorial Musical Arts Competition, and the Chicago/North Shore chapter of the American Guild of Organists competition. She has many years of professional experience as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral member, and accompanist. In 2011, Tracy soloed with three different orchestras, performing the complete Elgar Violin Concerto, the Max Bruch Violin and Viola Concertos, and Alexander Tchaikovsky’s Distant Dreams of Childhood. She has performed as a soloist with the Peninsula Music Festival Symphony Orchestra, the Northwestern Symphony Summer Orchestra, the North Suburban Symphony, the Waukegan Symphony Orchestra, the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra, and the Lake Forest Symphony. Tracy graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance and Historic Keyboard and a Master’s degree in Viola Performance. During her time at Northwestern, Tracy held positions as concertmaster of both the Northwestern University Chamber Orchestra and the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra. She studied violin and viola with Roland and Almita Vamos, and organ with Margaret Kemper and Douglas Cleveland. She currently resides in Bethel, PA with her husband and three wonderful children, and she teaches at Forte Piano Music Studio.</image:caption>

During her 2 years there, she won a prestigious quartet competition and served as the concertmaster for the Concert Orchestra. Rachel changed her major and today holds degrees in both dietetics and nursing, currently working as a RN in Lancaster.       <image:caption>Dalinda C. Bohr currently teaches at Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisburg, PA. where she instructs the high school orchestra program and teaches guitar. Mrs. Bohr previously taught the Conestoga Valley School District . In 2009, she achieved certification from the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in the area of Orchestra: Early Adolescence Through Young Adulthood. A 1999 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, Dalinda earned a B.S. Music Education with Honors, B.A. Music and a minor in German. As an undergraduate, Dalinda was instructed on both violin and viola from Dr. Johannes Dietrich. In 2006, she completed her Masters of Music Education degree also from LVC. She also earned a Masters Degree in Music Technology from Valley Forge Christian College in 2012. She continues to play both violin and viola professionally as a freelance musician throughout the region. As a guest conductor, Mrs. Bohr conducted the Lancaster-Lebanon County Festival Orchestra (2003) as well as the Central Dauphin Elementary Honors Orchestra (2003, 2017) . She was the guest conductor for the Central Dauphin Middle School Honors Orchestra (2006, 2013), the PMEA District 7 Youth String Festival Orchestra (2009, 2017) and the Berks County Jr. High Orchestra. An active member of PMEA, Dalinda hosted the PMEA District 7 Orchestra Festival in 2003, 2005 and 2011 and has served as the PMEA District 7 Curriculum Instruction Chair and HS Representative from 2010-2016. She also served on the Pennsylvania-Delaware Chapter of the American String Teachers Association from 2003 – 2016. During her tenure on the PADESTA Board she was recognized as Orchestra Director of the Year in 2015 and for Distinguished Service (Individual) in 2016. For the past 23 years, she has been the string teacher for Lebanon Valley College Summer Music Camp. Dalinda also teaches an intergenerational ensemble for beginner-intermediate musicians of any age at the Community Music Institute of Lebanon Valley College.</image:caption>

She has retired as Director of Orchestras at Allen M.S. and Cedar Cliff H.S. in the West Shore School District and also as a United States Air Force Senior Master Sergeant where she served for 20 years in the United States Air Force Band, Washington, DC as a soprano in the Singing Sergeants. Barbara studied cello with the late Mary Fister of Harrisburg, PA, Eugene Klein, West Chester University, and Stephen Kates, Peabody Conservatory. She also studied voice with the late Ms. Joy Vandever, West Chester University, Dr. Donald Wiggins, the Catholic University of America, and still studies with Ms. Claudia Catania, NYC, formerly with the Met. Besides actively teaching and performing, Barbara loves to spend time with her 3 children, their spouses, and her 9 grandchildren.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Michelle DiBona Trefren, conductor/pianist/organist/vocalist, is a music educator with a passion for music literacy and artistic music making. In addition to being the Artistic Director of Cantate Carlisle, she is the Director of Music Ministries at Second Presbyterian Church, Carlisle, PA, teaches piano privately, and has worked with musical theatre groups from Fayetteville up through Harrisburg. Prior to working in Central PA, Michelle taught at Yokohama International School, directed the Tokyo International Children’s Choir, and has played piano and organ professionally since the year 2000. A graduate of Syracuse University, BM in Piano Performance, she received the Hira Poncha Memorial Award for Excellence in Piano Performance and the Arthur Poister Award for Excellence in Organ Performance. At Westminster Choir College, she received a MM in Conducting with distinction and has continued her studies to include Teacher Training at Rider University, Teaching Kodaly, and summer chamber choir programs at Westminster Choir College and the Presbyterian Association of Musicians conference. To supplement her musical life, she revels in speaking French, running, and hiking. Michelle especially loves spending time with her husband, daughter, son, dogs, and cat.</image:caption>

As a soloist, Mary has given multiple solo recitals and received jury honors at Penn State for her rendition of the third movement of the Mendelssohn violin concerto.       <image:caption>Brian Buterbaugh is the Music Director/Conductor of the York Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra Director at Hershey HS. Mr. Buterbaugh also teaches graduate-level low string pedagogy at Messiah University and has taught orchestra and conducting classes at Lebanon Valley College. In 2023, he was named the Orchestra Director of the Year by the Pennsylvania-Deleware American String Teachers Association. Under his direction, the Hershey HS Concert Orchestra won acceptance to perform at the PMEA All-State Convention in April 2025. Aside from his duties with the YYSO, Mr. Buterbaugh is a highly-requested guest conductor throughout the Capitol Region and beyond. Mr. Buterbaugh maintains a private cello studio and is a frequent performer in the area. His private cello students range in age from middle schoolers to PMEA All-State Orchestra participants. Along with frequent freelance work, Brian has performed with symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles from throughout Pennsylvania. Mr. Buterbaugh received his BME from Penn State University, M.M. in Orchestral Conducting from Messiah University, and M.M.E. from the University of Nebraska. Additional coursework has been completed at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas and the University of the Arts.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Kerry Harker-Roth teaches viola, string methods and pedagogy (undergraduate and graduate) at Messiah University in Mechanicsburg, PA. She also serves as director of the Messiah University Summer Orchestra Camp. As an educator, Kerry often gives guidance to area string teachers and has enjoyed guest conducting elementary and middle school festivals in PA, NY, Texas and North Carolina. Kerry is a violist with the York Symphony Orchestra in York, PA and also performs frequently in the Harrisburg/York PA area. She currently maintains a large private studio of viola and violin students, both Suzuki and traditional of all ages. Kerry holds degrees from Houghton College and the Eastman School of Music in pedagogy, viola and music education.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Emily Reppert earned her B.S. in Music Education from Messiah College in 2021 and completed her Master of Music Education there in 2025, with a concentration in violin. While at Messiah, she served as a principal player in the orchestra and performed in various chamber ensembles. She currently teaches strings and band to students in grades 3–6 and remains an active performer throughout Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania. Emily performs with the Reading Pops Orchestra, Genesius Theatre, and other local musical productions, and regularly plays for church services and weddings in Berks and Lancaster Counties. In addition to performing, Emily maintains a private violin studio and is an instructor at the Berks Summer Strings Institute each summer. She is passionate about music education and working with students of all ages.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Erin Stefanic is a 2020 graduate of Lebanon Valley College, earning a B.S. in Music Education and a B.A. in Music with a violin performance concentration. During her tenure at LVC, Erin studied with Dr. Johannes Dietrich. She served as concertmaster of the LVC Symphony Orchestra beginning her sophomore year and earned a senior leadership award, in addition to presenting two successful solo recitals. Beginning violin at the age of eight, Erin has performed in countless venues in a variety of roles, primarily in weddings and theatre orchestras. She was fortunate to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City at the age of sixteen. Erin has extensive wedding performance experience, with repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary styles, and is well seasoned in both written notation and playing by ear. Currently, Erin serves as the Elementary Strings Coordinator for Cumberland Valley School District and is pursuing a Master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting at Messiah University.</image:caption>

She is currently the violinist with the Gettysburg-based band Emberglow, and with Strings in Tandem, a violin and cello duo. She has appeared with multiple orchestras, chamber ensembles, and other small groups across the United States. Keisha teaches violin, viola, guitar, and early childhood music in private studios, schools, and community programs. Her background also includes extensive work as a board-certified music therapist, serving healthcare, hospice, and disability support settings. With a passion for connecting people through music, she blends artistry, education, and care in every performance and teaching experience.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Andrew is proud to be serving as concertmaster of the Hanover Symphony Orchestra. Currently, Andrew is the Director of Secondary Orchestras in the Southern York County School District. He conducts the Full Symphonic High School Orchestra, high school string orchestra, high school select string ensemble, and he is the Susquehannock HS String Quartet coach. Andrew is also the conductor of the middle school (7–8th grade) orchestra. Along with his duties in Southern York, Andrew is the Pit Orchestra conductor for the Columbia Borough School District in Columbia, Lancaster, and serves on the violin faculty of the Elizabethtown College Music Camp. Previously, Andrew and his wife Julianna lived in Lewisburg, PA, where Andrew taught 4th–12th grade strings in the Lewisburg Area School District. He also performed with the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra as a section violinist and was the conductor of the Williamsport Symphony Junior Strings. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania (2011), where he served as concertmaster of the university orchestra and string ensemble; he also played trumpet in the marching band and jazz band and sang in the Mansfield University Concert Choir. He holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, SC (2016). While at South Carolina, Andrew was the principal 2nd violinist in the university orchestra and chamber ensemble. He also played in the pit orchestra for the school operas and was a section violinist in the Brevard Philharmonic. Andrew was the graduate assistant director for the USC String Project (2014–2016), an after-school community string program, where he conducted an adult orchestra and a middle school–aged orchestra. When Andrew is not teaching or playing his violin, he can be seen either coaching his son’s soccer or baseball team or fishing. Andrew and his wife Julianna have two beautiful children, Frederick and Hazel, and they enjoy being outside fishing, playing, and going to the beach.</image:caption>

Having been principal cellist for two years, he graduated from LVC with a BM and a minor in physics. During and after college, Andrew played cello for many groups including the Vivace String Trio/Quartet, Hershey Symphony, and Central PA Symphony. After a stint in the US Navy, he returned to the area and began playing electric and upright bass. Since then, Andrew continues to play cello and bass for many local community theaters such as Bare Bones Theatre Ensemble, Theatre Harrisburg, Keystone Theatrics, Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, and many area high schools.</image:caption>
